How to Do It.

Sit down with your legs together on the floor in front of you. Place your palms on the floor behind you and lean back 60 degrees from the floor. Drop your head back and fix your eyesight on a point on the ceiling (a). Don't wink or blink. Do the Breath of Fire for 2 minutes.

Then inhale and raise both feet 12 inches from the floor, keeping the vision steady (b). Hold for 15-20 seconds, then exhale and let the legs go down.

Repeat the Breath of Fire for 1 minute. Inhale and raise both feet 12 inches. Hold for 15 seconds. Exhale and relax completely on the back.

Comments:

This exercise, which energizes the brain and eyes, is helpful in cases of eye disease such as cataract and for headaches.
