How to Do It.

Sit in Easy Pose. Inhale completely. Exhale completely, and hold the air out as you pump the navel in and up (a) , then out (b) , again and again. Continue on the held exhale for 15 to 60 seconds. When you need to take a breath, inhale exhale, and begin pumping again on the held exhale, Continue this technique for 1-3 minutes.

Comments:

This technique takes the sugar out of the bloodstream. It is not recommended for hypoglycemics.

Other techniques that help this condition are beak breath (the mouth is pursed in a tight 'O' like a beak and the breath inhaled either in one long stroke or in short sips) for 31 minutes (c), maha mudra for 15 minutes (d), and foot massage at the pancreas point (e).
