"Meditation on the white swan"

What It Will Do for You

The early Christians used to practice this in the caves. It was one of the techniques mastered by Jesus when he studied yoga in India. As you continue to meditate, you will reach a stage where the hands will become still and calm and the arms will start supporting themselves. The body will begin to relax. You will reach a state of total relaxation as you continually stimulate the life nerves. After 3 to 5 minutes, you will feel locked in the position. Then as you relax you will start floating in the mental realm. This used to be one of the most sacred and secret meditations. It is practiced by advanced yogis. Start practicing for 5 minutes and slowly increase. The best time to practice it is just before bed for 11 minutes. It will bring the experience and potential of many lives.

How to Do It

A) Sit in easy pose with the spine straight. Make fists of both hands. Put both fists with back of palms toward you 6 to 8 inches in front of the brow point. Extend and press the thumb tips together until they become white. (Al) There is no need to press very hard, just firmly. It is important to let the last joint of the thumb relax and bend as much as possible to look like diagram A2. Fix the eyes on the white thumb tips for a few seconds to get a clear mental image of that portion of the hand. Then close the eyelids and clearly see the thumbs tips through the eyelids mentally.Begin long, deep, and slow breaths. On the inhale, think "Sat", on the exhale mentally vibrate "Nam". Continue for 5 to 11 minutes.
